Dale Baker, Director of Building Department Services at PDCS’s Orlando office has been elected to the Executive Board of the Building Officials Association of Florida’s (BOAF) Central Florida Chapter. The BOAF has over three thousand members in the state of Florida with more than fifty of those members active in the central Florida chapter. Mr. Baker will serve on the Executive Board for a one year term 2013-2014 as Treasurer.
Mr. Baker is a licensed building official within the state of Florida and currently serves PDCS as Director of Building Department Services. Before rejoining the PDCS team, Mr. Baker served as the building official for the City of Tallahassee and Escambia County. He also served for numerous years as the chief specialty inspector and electrical inspector for Reedy Creek District at Walt Disney World Resort.
“I am excited to and look forward to serving as a board member to the award winning Central Florida Chapter of the BOAF as Treasurer this next year” said Mr. Baker. His responsibilities as Treasurer will include: maintaining the present fiscal year budget; preparing the budget for the following year; and serving as a voting member of the Board.
