What are the Requirements?

- Building Inspector and Plans Examiner positions require 468 certifications
- Fire/Life Safety Inspector and Plans Examiner require Fire Safety I Certificate of Compliance (Fire Safety II – Preferred)
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience for inspectors/plans examiners
- Minimum of ten (10) years of experience for building code administrators
- Valid Driver’s License
- Reliable Transportation
