Fire and Life Safety Division

PDCS provides fire prevention personnel without compromising safety, customer service and efficiency.  We can provide onsite staffing of fire officials performing in the capacity of an Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ), fire inspector, fire plans examiner, and community risk reduction specialist who are highly qualified and certified by the State of Florida and NFPA.

State and NFPA Certified Professionals

The principle function of our Fire and Life Safety Division is to provide exceptionally trained inspectors and plan examiners, who will conduct quality inspections in all commercial buildings, residential properties bearing licensure from the State of Florida, and review plans in accordance with all applicable local ordinances, Florida Statutes, Florida Fire Prevention Code and NFPA’s.

Our state licensed and NFPA certified Inspectors provide fire safety inspections on how to decrease fire hazards, eliminate code violations, and educate business owners on the dynamics that increase the likelihood of fires and life safety issues within their businesses. These inspections decrease the occurrence of fires and safety violations making businesses safer in your community.

Safer Communities through Fire Prevention Education

PDCS also offers public education to teach and train business owners and the community by providing experienced and accomplished community risk reduction personnel. The goal of our PDCS public education services is to provide information and instructional classes that reduce the loss of life and thwart injury from preventable causes.
